Position Description

As a Technician you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Perform product testing based on engineering protocols and other technical documents
  • Communicate with various departments regarding actions required for project completion
  • Assist project engineers to meet deadlines for tests, complete milestones and day-to-day engineering tasks
  • Identify problems and initiate improvements to current testing techniques

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience utilizing standard laboratory tools and test equipment
  • Ability to understand technical documents, including but not limited to, engineering protocols, drawings and controlled procedures
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective written aptitude
  • Uphold teamwork, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, resolve issues and manage multiple tasks
  • Maintain a cooperative attitude and show initiative to assist the team with new projects

 

Preferred

 The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Associate Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience in medical and/or mechanical device testing including documentation of results
  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel
