Position Description

As an R&D Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Assist in the development of medical devices for simulation and surgical applications
  • Operate machinery such as a mill, lathe, dremel, grinder, and laser cutter to build fixtures and prototypes
  • Use EAGLE/Altium to design, test and assemble printed circuit boards for prototypes
  • Manage and maintain lab equipment

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,  Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and ability to multi-task



 The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Experience programming in Java, C/C++, or Python
  • Experience with fabricating electronic circuits
  • Hands on experience with circuit board population and fabrication
  • Familiarity with circuit design and analysis
