Position Description

As a Project Manager, you will be integrated into the research and development teams.  Their primary responsibility is identifying, managing and tracking a wide range of program objectives through proper time management contingency planning, team organization and coordination across multiple functional groups within Applied Medical’s highly vertically integrated manufacturing and development environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and other functional groups within Applied to set and track progress against complex program objectives.
  • Provide and gather clear input to and from the project team regarding schedules, contingencies and deliverables on a regularly basis
  • Communicate engineering requirements up and down stream to Engineering Senior managers, Clinical Development, Operations and Process Development
  • Communicate the project team’s requirements, risks and opportunities to engineering leadership on a regular basis

Position Requirements

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in product development with previous personal design experience.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software development process.
  • Experience in planning activities in an engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex product development projects and identify important elements.
  • Demonstrated experience in contingency planning is highly valued
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work across functional groups including Clinical Development Engineering, Operations and Process Development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
