    Position Description

    As a Technician II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

    • Evaluate, test and troubleshoot finished devices, electrical systems and their respective components, sub-assemblies and test fixtures
    • Review and evaluate non-conforming materials and customer experience reports
    • Develop and update engineering documents such as manufacturing instructions, drawings and test methods
    • Build, set up, test, troubleshoot, repair and/or modify tooling, parts and equipment
    • Research, collect data, perform investigations, and provide evidence per the request of responsible personnel
    • Execute test protocols and reports, conduct various testing, and collect and analyze data and trends
    • Maintain lab equipment and spare parts inventory
    • Comply with design control procedures
    • Assist project engineers to meet deadlines and complete milestones and day-to-day engineering tasks

    Position Requirements

    This position requires the following skills and attributes:

    • Understanding of technical reasoning, prototyping and manufacturing processes
    • Ability to learn new products/processes and design control procedures quickly
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
    • Computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing
    • Originality, ingenuity and integrity
    • Proficiency by performance and/or certification regarding basic mechanical aptitude
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering/science or equivalent experience


    • Technical trade school training or equivalent technical experience
    • Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, extrusion and stamping
    • Experience with SolidWorks or Autocad
    • Experience with hands-on testing and troubleshooting of tools and equipment
