    Position Description

    As an Engineering Technician you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:


    • Work with engineers to rework PCBA’s during prototype and development process
    • Assist the engineering team in the design verification and process verification/validation testing
    • Develop documentation change request and perform other documentation activities
    • Evaluate Material Review Report (MRR) for non-conforming material/components
    • Execute engineering test protocols.
    • Identify problems and initiate improvements to current testing techniques/methods or working processes/products
    • Communicate with various departments regarding actions required by the project engineering team
    • Perform other engineering related activities

    Position Requirements

    This position requires the following skills and attributes:

    • A high school diploma
    • Ability to work independently, resolve issues and manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Knowledge of IPC 610/J-STD-1 Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
    • Able to rework and solder SMT/Thru hole components and build cable harness
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as assembly procedures, engineering drawings instructions, testing protocol and equipment procedures
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Mechanical aptitude essential (i.e. hands-on ability to test)


    The following skills and attributes are preferred:

    • Associate Degree in a technical discipline
    • Prior experience in the testing of medical device products
    • Ability to use MS Office software programs such as Word and Excel
