    Position Description

    As a Quality Control Material Handler, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

    • Perform material handling operations in non-clean room manufacturing environment at designated warehouse location(s).
    • Receive sterilization loads, prepare for QC sampling, product labeling for release and sort/stack batch on pallets in preparation for finished goods ERP "Stock Put-Away"
    • Understand and follow required SOP’s, manufacturing instructions and QSR per training
    • Comply with all safety rules and company policies
    • Read and understand engineering drawings, shop order operation and shop order process controls
    • Keep parts segregated by part number and lot number for traceability as required by SOP’s and QSR’s
    • Perform the following SAP transaction codes relative to QC-PV functions
    • Review shop order operation for the accuracy of the quantity and sign off signature
    • Label product from QC release Transfer Orders
    • Perform bin Audits
    • Cycle count product
    • Receive and process sterile product from sterilizer
    • Prioritize and expedite orders as required
    • Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the work area

    Position Requirements

    This position requires the following skills and attributes:

    • Read, write and speak English
    • Ability to frequently handle objects up to 40 lbs. and heavier items occasionally
    • Understand SOPs, manufacturing instructions and QSRs
    • Ability to stand while working for several hours at a time
    • Experience with computers
    • An understanding of team concepts and a willingness to work with others
    • Experience in warehouse operations in a manufacturing company
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Forklift certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
    • High School diploma
    • Associates Degree a plus
