    Position Description

    As an Engineer I, you will learn and develop skills related to medical device development as part of a cross-functional team:

    • Develop, maintain, and improve the design of new and existing devices
    • Debug mechanical and software issues with new and existing devices and equipment via root cause analysis
    • Develop and update engineering documents such as test procedures, FMEA’s, and, reports
    • Evaluate device performance with hands on verification and validation testing
    • Participate in regulatory submission packet assembly for the FDA and European markets

    Position Requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, (or equivalent) 
    • Ability to understand, analyze, and troubleshoot complex systems
    • Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, computer-aided design (i.e. SolidWorks), statistical analysis, spreadsheets, and word processing
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Technical aptitude and detail oriented 



    • Experience in engineering (i.e. internships or co-ops)
    • Engineering capstone projects related to medical devices
    • Experience with technical writing
    • Familiar with the medical device design process
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO quality systems
