    Position Description

    • Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting of rubber and silicone molding and secondary manufacturing processes
    • Design, investigate, develop and qualify new products, materials, manufacturing processes, fixtures and equipment
    • Implement process improvements such as: update molding process parameters, perform process efficiency studies for manufacturing, add line expansions, etc.
    • Perform root cause analysis for complex issues that may be related to molding, automated machines, or product/process design, propose and implement corrections and corrective actions
    • Generate documentation (engineering drawings, test protocols, reports, troubleshooting guides, manufacturing instructions)
    • Manage individual projects that range from Mold Design, Process Design, Molding, and Automated Machine Qualification
    • Manage projects by developing a project schedule, preparing costing, conducting meetings, and communicating issues and/or project progress to management
