• Process Engineer I

    Position Location US-CA-Rancho Santa Margarita

    As a Process Engineer I, you will learn and develop skills related to sustaining and improving production manufacturing processes as part of a cross-functional team.


    Receive guidance to complete the following:

    • Sustain manufacturing processes
    • Debug manufacturing processes and equipment via root cause analysis
    • Run, observe and expedite shop orders
    • Develop and update engineering documents such as process maps, process FMEA, manufacturing/quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports
    • Collaborate with the Production team to identify capabilities and capacity
    • Collaborate with the Engineering team for fixturing design and development, tolerancing and design for manufacturing
    • Collaborate with tooling design teams (MIM, Stamping, Molding, etc)

    Position Requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) 
    • Working knowledge of computer-aided design (i.e. SolidWorks), spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processing
    • Working knowledge of a variety of materials and mechanical designs
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Technical aptitude and detail oriented 


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in engineering (i.e. internships or co-ops)
    • Engineering capstone projects related to manufacturing or medical devices
    • Experience with technical writing
    • Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes
    • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
    • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
    • Understanding of manufacturing and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO quality systems
